BonLife Coffee Roasters, located at 1807 Keith St NW in Cleveland, TN, has quickly forged a reputation as a go-to coffee shop for local caffeine aficionados. The menu boasts an enticing selection of espresso drinks, from the indulgent Brown Sugar Vanilla Latte to the unique Coconut Charcoal Mocha Latte, each priced around $5.99. Customers rave about the quality of the coffee, with many claiming it to be the best in town. Amanda Lynn's experience, however, highlights the need for better menu transparency, as she found the seasonal offerings lacking and the food selection quite minimal.
Despite some mixed feelings on service, with Nicolle Walters noting a more professional than friendly staff, the quality of the beverages seems to outweigh these concerns. Reviewers like Dave Diamond and nadchen appreciate the latte art and spacious atmosphere, providing a comfortable environment to enjoy their brews. The Coconut Charcoal Mocha has its fans, but be wary of pairing robust drinks with empty stomachs, as nadchen discovered. Overall, BonLife Coffee Roasters impresses with its excellent coffee, inviting space, and commitment to flavor but leaves some desire for enhanced customer interaction and a broader food selection.

Reviews for BonLife Coffee Roasters
Review highlights
Based on 341 reviewsBonLife Coffee Roasters is widely recognized for its quality coffee, with many patrons praising the rich flavors and impressive latte art. The shop’s spacious and inviting atmosphere, along with varied seating options, makes it a comfortable spot for casual visits, though some note limited power outlets for those intending to work. While the food menu is modest, featuring items like muffins and cinnamon rolls, it may feel limited to some customers, especially with inaccurate online menu listings causing occasional mismatches in expectations. Overall, the brand is appreciated for solid coffee offerings and friendly service, making it a strong contender in the Cleveland, TN coffee scene despite minor areas for improvement.
The seasonal menu was not my favorite, but the Vietnamese cold brew my partner had was quite good. I wish the menu online was more accurate to what was actually available, because I ended up with false expectations. The food selection was very bare bones (no pastries, no croissants, just some muffins and cinnamon rolls).
Love love the coffee. Best in Cleveland, TN. Just know that if you go there to work, there are limited outlets. So make sure your devices are charged in case you can't get access to one for a bit!
I liked how spacious the atmosphere is. There were many seating options to choose from. I got the Coconut Charcoal Mocha Latte, the Avocado Toast, and the Bunlife Muffin. The food and coffee was pretty good. Although I did get a stomachache and felt nauseous on the way back home, but I think it's because I didn't eat anything before drinking the charcoal latte so don't be like me. The workers were great and I hope to come back when I get the chance.
It would have been almost impossible for BonLife Coffee Roasters to have compared with our last coffee shop in Kentucky. However, they did a really respectable job! Their coffee was solid, the foam art fantastic. Here’s the only ding I had for BonLife and it’s not a problem for all; for some it might be considered a positive thing! When I walk into a coffee shop of a morning, I like the baristas to be friendly. I don’t go to Starbucks for a reason. I like the little mom and pop shops where – ideally, anyway – people love their jobs, they love their customers, their regulars, and are happy to see new faces. The baristas, while perfectly professional and courteous, were not particularly friendly. They inquired politely as to what I wanted, they delivered mostly really good espresso, and that was all. I’m using measured words for the coffee; it was so much better than anything you can get at a chain coffee shop (Starbucks, Scooters, Caribou, etc.) and better than what you can get at many local, independent shops. There was just a touch of sour indicating a problem with the shot pulled, it was under extracted. To be fair, I don’t use any kind of sweetener in my coffee so someone who even adds syrups or even a bit of honey or sugar might not notice it. It wasn’t bad enough to be a problem, just enough to have it not be great espresso. In short, I wouldn’t turn anyone away from BonLife. Just understand what you’re getting. For me personally, I’d rather have an espresso drink that isn’t fantastic with friendly, smiling faces vs. a brilliant flat white with perfunctory service. But that’s just me.
Really good coffee. My cappuccino was tasty and the latte art was excellent. The cinnamon bun was excellent. Service is good.
Absolutely an outstanding coffee experience and a testament to the specialty coffee community in Cleveland, TN. The barista recommended the grape soda cold brew — and while it might sound unconventional, don’t knock it until you try it. It was perfect on a hot summer day and easily one of the most memorable specialty coffee drinks I’ve ever had. I liked it so much, I went back three more times over the next few days while in town for work. Atmosphere and service were excellent, and I’m already looking forward to my next trip to Cleveland just so I can stop by again.
They told us this was the best coffee place in town (Cleveland TN) so we stopped over to have a normal coffee and an iced coffee. The coffee is good but imo not the best I ever had. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the service was good and fast too. In the room you see a lot of (single) people working on laptops/mac’s. The wifi must be good! If you look further you see they bake a lot if their own cookies so that’s a fresh cookie experience. Parking space is more than enough so after a lot of coffee tasting this might be the best in town for US standards but there is room for improvement.
BonLife coffee roasters is one of Cleveland, Tennessee’s best coffee stops. They have a large, unique, and fairly priced menu. The Vietnamese cold brew is soo good and I really enjoyed the good life sandwich. Definitely recommend BonLife for a dine in visit with friends / family.
